Loud of Sweden for Fiskars

In the 17th century several iron mills were established in Finland. In Western Uusimaa there were extensive forests, untapped hydropower and good waterways, making the area an excellent centre for the Finnish iron industry. Antskog mill was founded around 1630 and the mill in Billnäs in 1641. Fiskars was founded in 1649 and is today one of the oldest companies in the Western world
