Loud of Sweden for Yasuragi
In 1970, LO bought land at Hasseludden, and the Japanese architect Yoji Kasajima was commissioned to design the facility. The result was a large and expansive building that creeps between the trees and follows the terrain. During the 90s, the need for education decreased and the school was discontinued. Hasseludden became a regular conference facility. The then CEO, Lena Tryggstad, saw that new ideas were needed here to speed up the business. Only a unique concept would do! The Japanese way of life fascinated Lena and became a source of inspiration that is still alive today.
